Two hearts bound by a single ring
Two souls grow as one
About this, the angels shall sing
And in this way love has truly begun

With this ring I Wed Thee”
With these words and a gentle kiss
We embark on what lies ahead
Sailing into the waters of wedded bliss

As the years pass and time fades away
And we sit together and reminisce
I bring to you a simple bouquet
And upon your cheek a simple kiss

From a young age, I have always been in love with the colour lilac. Not purple, just lilac. I remembered back in the days when I was around 15-16, my clothes were full of lilac palette.  You know, that teenager age shopping in Supre and the like. Now, when it comes to clothing, I prefer to wear red, but the colour lilac still remains my favourite colour. I can so see myself knitting my granddaughter lilac mittens.

So I just want to share with you this wedding decorations of what I call lilac prettiness. From the bouquet, bridesmaid dresses, table centres, to even wedding booklet. Lots of thoughts was put into creating these details, which I hope to provide some inspirations for brides to be. My own wedding colour theme was lilac as well…. correction *cof cof*, Antz and I mutually agreed our theme. If you followed my old blog, it was also the first colour when I first started Chrissy N Photography.

The colour does not have to match exactly for every single thing, just the shades is fine. For one, can you imagine how difficult it will be trying to find everything that matches exactly? Plus different shades will create dimensions, rather a flat looking palette.

And this last photo of Darling Harbour. Photo was actually taken at Harbourside, rather than Lavender Bay, but I cheated with the editing. But hey, it fits in with this theme right?

Today I married my best friend,
Our bond complete, it hath no end,
We share one soul, we share one heart,
A perfect time – a perfect start.

With these rings we share together,
Love so close to last forever,
This special day – two special hearts,
Let nothing keep this love apart.”

For today’s blog, I am quite excited to share with you my first boudoir collection to appear online, as boudoirs shoot are private in nature. So grateful my client has allowed me to share with you some of these images.

When it comes to my boudoir shoot, the best line I can think of to describe my work is “the art of tease”. In fact, most of my works are art & relationship-oriented and less on the fashion side of thing (although I have to admit there is a slight influence). In my boudoirs, I am not trying to create a perfect looking woman, you know, perfect hair and perfect body. (Mind you, I would love to photograph Miranda Kerr one day,she is just a beauty). Rather, I am trying to capture individuality and encourage us women to embrace both our inner and outer beauty.

And the second keyword is tease. Yes it is a boudoir shoot after all isn’t it? It’s funny, I remember one of my client commented something along the line she didn’t think this little Asian girl could have that inner “burlesque” during our shoot. I didn’t know it myself either =), but all I know is being a female photographer is definitely an advantage.Using a lot of props also helped to create the an image that… will leave you….lingering to see just a bit more.

This last pic is my favourite, it is such a tease dont you think so? The rest of my collection are for my client fiance’s eyes only. I will leave it to your imagination to complete the rest of the collection.
